Sell your reports - setup guide

Hello Inspections now allows you to onsell existing reports to new customers at the click of a button! Once you’re set up, you can make any report available for sale on our e-commerce site and new customers will find you by searching the property address.

Heres how it works -

• Set your price and expiry date of the report

• Our system will upload your report to helloreports.com.au

• Customers will purchase your report by searching for the property address

• You make extra money!

But before you can get started, there is some one-off setup involved. Here is a step by step guide -

Step 1 - Configure your account to receive payments through our payment provider, “Stripe”.

• Navigate to our dashboard on a web browser and click the profile icon (top right), then settings.

• Click “Connect with Stripe”

You will then be taken through a series of screens where you will set up your business details, and nominate a bank account that will receive payments.

Once this is complete, your dashboard settings screen should look like this.

Clicking on “Stripe Dashboard” will allow you to check your account details, including transactions and payouts.

Step 2 - Sell your report!

You should now see an options button on the top right corner of the screen when you’re in a report. Tap this, then “Sell report online”.

This screen is where you can configure settings for the report.

• Expiry date: this is the date the report will automatically be removed from sale. It should typically be around 30 days from the inspection date. You can modify this at any time.

• Price: this is the price the customer pays, in AUD.

• Service fee: this is a combination of a platform fee and Stripe (payment provider) fee.

• Total: the amount you will receive per report sold.

Upon confirmation, your report will be recreated without client details and uploaded to helloreports.com.au.

You will then see this screen, where you can -

• View the listing on helloreports.com.au

• Upload new PDF: if you change the report after it has been uploaded for sale, select this option.

• Change the price.

• Change the expiry date.

• Remove the report from sale.

Tap “View listing” to reveal the report on helloreports.com.au. You can then tap the share icon to share the URL with anyone, such as real estate agents, other customers, etc.

In a browser you can navigate to helloreports.com.au and type the property address in the search. You should see your report in the search results.
